Default Unusual Odor

Hello,

For the past month or so, I've been noticing an odor (a lot like a urinal at an old sports stadium) that seems to come and go. I've checked the air vent that leads to the sewage line, and found nothing unusual.

When it does occur, it generally comes from only one bathroom. Just last night, it seemed to have a life of it's own, and I can't pinpoint the source, much less find a solution.

Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi mbwalden,

Sorry you’re having trouble with the odor.

I think you will find the solution you’re looking for in our Drain Waste and Vent section.

If you want to hire a local contractor to help, take a look at this page.
