The latch of an internal door has broken in shutting the door. I can't now open the door. I have removed the handle plate to get into the square drive, but turning this doesn't release the latch which has obviously broken from its drive. I've tried putting a screwdriver between the side of the door and latch, but it won't budge. Any ideas before I pay several hundred £ on a locksmith?
