Hi,
I have an older Whirlpool Dishwasher which I've had no problems with until recently. After one complete cycle, the dishes still had a whitish film on them, and I thought there was a dishwashing liquid problem, and I rewashed them, and it still had the film. I noticed the on the rotating sprayer on the bottom, there was a white 30 1/2 "X 5/16" rubber gasket or fitting (it looks like a big hollow rubber band). I don't think it goes on the sprayer--at least I can't figure out how, but in any case, the machine functions and goes thru all the cycles with no problem, but the dishes have the white film. Can anyone help me? I think the gasket may have something to do with the dysfunction, but I can't figure out where it goes. Perhaps if it was in the right place, the dishes would be clean. I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thank you! |
