Default Drain Clogs: How to Locate

Drain for washer backs up. It's been snaked over 25 ft till snake taps out. Snake comes back clean. No other drains are clogged or even slow. Cleanout has also been checked out and is fine. Line still clogged. ????? This is a 2story house, washer is located in the garage. O Once again every other drain up/dwn drain fine.

Cool Washer won't drain

Does the washer drain hose go into a standpipe? The fact that no other drains are slow makes me think this is a vent problem. Try snaking down the vent pipe to see if the vent is clogged. When the washer discharges a high volume of water during the drain cycle, it may be overwhelming the drain pipe if the vent is clogged.
