Default question.

question. i have 2 receptales outside that keep tripping the breaker i changed the receptacles then the breaker still tripping this trips after about 20-30 mins help need to put up x-mas lights

It sounds like that that your outside receptacle circuit is overloaded. Put an amp meter on the black wire that is connected to the breaker that keeps tripping. If you get a reading of about 12 amps or more, that circuit is overloaded, and you would need to run a new circuit to your outdoor receptacles for your Xmas lights.

Default markmark

there is only two receptacles even with nothing plugged in it trips could it be a short. or a loose wire thanks
