I moved to Romania and have very little room for a washing machine. Many models are available top loading with vertical forward rotating tubs and small in width. Please advise of best model for cleanliness and quietness and whether any also incorporate drying into the same machine. Is it best to buy the fasting spinning machine to improve water removal and shorten drying time?

Top-loader have been around for over 3 decades,most are very dependable.Front-loaders are nice,they are easyer to load & unload if they are elevated.Pick the one you like & can return easily,sometime you can get the best one & still have a lemon.Also how quick can you get parts & service.
