Default My dishwasher cycle starts and I can hear the water coming i...

My dishwasher cycle starts and I can hear the water coming in but then as it goes to start the washing cycle, there is a loud high pitched whirring sound with nothing else happening.

Default clean chooper

Remove the bottom rack, the spray arm, the the spray arm support and the lower screen,& clean the filter and chopper assembly.You may find stuff hitting against the chopper like plastic debris , pits, bread ties, broker glass,ect.Try that first see if the noise goes away.
