Default I enstalled a new sprinkler system and everything seems to b...

I enstalled a new sprinkler system and everything seems to be wired up right, but the sprinklers will not operate by the timer. only by manually turning on the solenoids. what can be wrong?

Some additional information would be helpful. What type of timer and valves do you have? The most common problem when all the valves won't work is the ground wire is not properly connected.
