Electrical Receptacles: Troubleshooting & Repairs
When I flip the switch in the laundry room, the light does not come on immediately. It always comes on, but the delay can be as long as 10 seconds. It is a 3 way, and it does not matter which switch is flipped.

Is it a fluorescent light? If it is, the ballast may be going bad.

No, It is a regular light bulb.
