Default Our side by side refrig/freezer is not freezing food.

Our side by side refrig/freezer is not freezing food. It just stopped, I think during the night, getting freezing cold. The other side seems to be working ok.

Default fridge info

Will need the brand, model# & year of manufacture if you can find it.This info will help solve the problem.

Can you hear the fridge running? If so ck the fan by the compressor, check to make sure your condenser fan is turning & condenser coils are clean. You can removed the panel covering the coils,ck to see if they are frosted over & cloged with ice.If they are you can defrosted the coils with a hairdryer.
If they are iced over you are dealing with a failure of one of four components: defrost heater, defrost thermostat, defrost timer or bad pc board.

Was this solution helpful to you,if so click on the balancing scales on the left to add to reputation.
