I just received a marble table that is in two pieces and another crack is forming. Is there anyway to repair this? There is also a plastic film covering the table and where it is removed you can still feel the glue. How can I remove the sticky film left by the plastic?

That's terrible! If you have any recourse to the person or company that the table came from, I'd contact them. I think you can remove plastic and similar gunk using hard surface cleaners, but I'm not sure.Marble may be too delicate for chemical cleaning solvents. Your table may need to be sent to a professional furniture restoration place. I hope some other folks have better ideas about this. Good luck.
