I just connected new 14/2 wire to replace the old wornout wiring in one room. It is all connected the same way and works fine(switch, light and outlet. But I get a small tingle out of the white(common) bare wire. I noticed when I was putting a wire nut on a connection to the old line. Should I or is somthing wrong?

Do not touch the bare conductor of the neutral (white) wire. The neutral wire carries voltage and amperage back to the panel then to ground.
