what is the highest efficiency gas furnace that can be installed in an attic?

Default Furnaces and attics

Good morning, lmuncy:

Your question lacks clarity. The efficiency of a furnace is independent of where it may be installed. If local code permits the installation of a furnace in a specific attic, there will be no restrictions on the efficiency, per se.

If you reword your question, you may get a better answer.
