Have a look in the exhaust pipe.. make sure its not lint blocked if so this can cause it to over heat and shut down.

Most dryers especially newer ones have a heat overload protector installed to prevent lint fires or fires in general in the unit..in the back of the dryer usually near where the vent pipe connects is a small little sensor..usually white in color possibly made of ceramic or plastic.. this is the sensor that can cause the dryer to shut down if. 1 the vent is blocked by lint causing it to get hot..

or 2 that sensor is faulty and weak can be causing it to get a improper reading from the vent and shutting it down

Hope this helps
