Hige side for storm door
The storm door should be hinged on which ever side makes sense as to the way you enter the house. ie: you don't want to have to "walk around" the open storm door or fall off the landing to get around it. HOWEVER, make sure if the storm door is hinged on the same side as the main door, the handle sets don't interfere with each other.
