outlet doesnt work.
outlet doesnt work.if i touch the white or black with my tester to the ground wire, it lights up,but if i touch the black and white together, nothing. im stuck----jim

Are you getting a voltage reading on your tester from neutral to ground? Try re-setting your GFCI receptacles in your house. Sometimes a GFCI in one part of the house will power receptacles in another part of the house.
