Default Laying a Ceramic Tile Floor

i would like to know if it is necessary to center my tile in the room. the way it lays out with the tile centered, i end up with a 1 inch piece next to the toilet flange on one side. i am using 12 inch tile

It's only centered to make it look nice. I don"t see why you can"t shift it over 3 to 6 inches and it wouldn't even be noticed.
