Mitsubishi 46" Rear-Projection green tint!!

I have a Mitsubishi 46 rear projection tv, 8 years old and has green tint showing up on white images, letters, lines etc in the picture. Please advise as to what to do.

what type of rear-projection tv is it?

If it has a color wheel, that might be failing. Otherwise your lamp might be going out.

Not a TV expert, hopefully someone who is can give you some feedback.

Before you go replacing bulbs in your set (or replacing your set) check the Tint and other video settings found in your TV's menu. This can often get messed up on accident, especially if there are curious kids in the house with access to the remote
