Question Washing Machine Doesn’t Agitate

it seems the agitator is engaging randomly but disengages immediately due to the load. It`s a direct drive washer. Is there anything I can do at home to repair, or is it necessary to get a repairman?

Default Washing Machine Doesn’t Agitate

I was washing a large load of clothes last night and all of the sudden it started a very loud banging noise. I rushed to stop the unit and when I opened the lid it was full of water and the tub was laying over toward the side like something underneath broke. The motor still runs but nothing turns. What could that be and is it worth trying to repair?

Default Washing Machine Doesn't Agitate

2 year old maytag washer will not aggitate. It turns its self off at that cycle. Must wait a while before I can manually advance to rinse and spin both work ok.

Default Washing Machine Doesn't Agitate

I have a Kenmore 90 series Washer model# 110.26914691. I've replaced the dogs and the motor coupling recently and it did fix the problems at the time. Now the machine agitates only in one direction not back and forth, I've heard it also spins very slowly in that cycle also. I have the machine disassembled down to the transmission, clutch, motor and tub and will inspect it more in the morning. Can you help me?
