How a Dishwasher Works, Dishwasher Parts Diagram
 when i use the kitchen sink water goes back to the dishwasher via the drain hose do you have any idea why? |

try this
 sink trap is probably plugged . try drano or the like . if you are handy you might try undoing the p trap under the sink . put a bucket below when u do this |
